The canopy is made from hardwearing 180g polyester with a UPF 30 rating.

The canopy is easy to set up. Simply release the locking lever to move the canopy to an overhanging position, then press the lever again to lock the canopy into place. Turn the crank handle to open the canopy and its ready for you to use.

The frame and 4.5cm cross base are made from steel and the handle is made from aluminium. All parts are powder coated for rust resistance.

A 4 piece base is not included with the umbrella and is essential for safely using it. The 4 piece base is placed over the top of the 4.5cm steel cross base to weigh the parasol down. This helps to prevent it falling over in the wind. Every 4 piece base sold by Christow is fully compatible and can be purchased separately.

This banana parasol from Christow has a UV protective canopy with a UPF 30 rating to keep your skin well protected from the suns damaging ultraviolet rays. It also has an air vent at the top to reduce wind pressure and prevent the wind pulling it upwards. The frame and handle are made from powder coated steel and aluminium for rust resistance.
